The show will follow Sinbad and his family in Los Angeles as the actor/comedian attempts to revive his comedy career.
“It’s not your run-of-the-mill reality show,” Sinbad told Entertainment Weekly. “I’m looking at this medium to find ways to be creative. If done right, reality TV can be funny.”
“Sinbad’s Family Affair” is scheduled to premiere April 12th and will join WE TV’s other family-centered reality programming, “Joan & Melissa,” which follows Joan Rivers and her daughter Melissa, as well as “Braxton Family Values” which follows Toni Braxton and her family.
