As a part of our It’s All Black Music feature for Black Music Month, we’ve posted polls to see who you think are the best Black artists of all time.

Our first poll asked you Who Is The King Of R&B?

Check out the results below:

Black Music Month poll question

It was a close race between old school crooners, Marvin Gaye and Luther Vandross but Marvin came out in the lead with 35 percent of the votes! Luther came in at 2nd with 30 percent of the votes. R. Kelly actually received 29 percent of the votes, making him number 3. Poor Chris Brown and Bobby Brown didn’t have a chance in this contest. They came in with 4 percent and 1 percent of your votes.

Was Chris Brown wronged? Who did you vote for? You do you think should have won? Speak on who is the real King Of R&B in the comments section below!

Don’t forget to vote in our new poll: Who Is The Best Dancer In R&B? by visiting It’s All Black Music!
