15-year NBA veteran Rasheed Wallace, who last played in the league during the ’09-’10 season, has been working out with the New York Knicks over the last week and reportedly informed the team that he will sign with them this season.

Wallace, who last played for the Boston Celtics, did play for head coach Mike Woodson before. Woodson was an assistant coach to Larry Brown on the 2004 Detroit Pistons who won the NBA championship.

Wallace is another big who can play center and has 3-point range. He should be able to spread the floor for the Knicks. The big question is can he still contribute at a high level after two years off?
