Who is Kevin McCall? Kevin McCall, or K-Mac, is a songwriter, singer, rapper and producer expecting a baby with girlfriend Eva Marcille. Eva Marcille and Kevin McCall went public with the pregnancy in August 2013, when the “America’s Next Top Model” cycle-three winner told BET she was five months on her way to delivering her first child. So who is baby-daddy Kevin McCall? As Eva Marcille says, he’s “the only man who I would share this moment in my life with.”
But the answer to, “Who is Kevin McCall?” is more than “Eva Marcille’s baby-daddy.” Sure, the musician and producer is not yet a household name, and until Eva delivers that kid, K-Mac will primarily be known as the dude who’s dating a former reality TV star, but Kevin McCall is an artist in his own right. Kevin McCall has appeared on record with the likes of Big Sean (“Naked”) and the aforementioned Chris Brown (“Deuces”), who signed the 28-year-old California native to his Chris Brown Entertainment (CBE) label. Kevin McCall made headlines in June 2013 when he dropped the “Sextape” EP, the follow-up to “Definition,” which arrived in February.
But who is Kevin McCall? Kevin McCall, or K-Mac, has written and produced songs for the likes of Keri Hilson, Trey Songz and Kelly Rowland, and having achieved some level of notoriety for his verse on Chris Brown’s comeback single “Deuces,” which also featured Tyga, he’s gearing up to drop an album called “ADHD.” Whether K-Mac’s album will drop before he and Eva Marcille have their baby is anyone’s guess, but the kid and the LP aren’t the only exciting products Kevin McCall has coming down the pipeline. As McCall told ThisIsRnB.com, he recently worked with rocker Marilyn Manson on some “rock soul” music. Who is Kevin McCall? K-Mac is an artist clearly willing to experiment and blur genre lines, and while he’s a man of many talents, he says he’s more of a singer than a rapper.
“People thought I was a rapper because of ‘Deuces,’ but it wasn’t that, it was because I was a songwriter, after Tyga and Chris’ verse it’s only a rap verse left so I had to rap,” K-Mac told ThisIsRnB.com, answering the question, “Who is Kevin McCall” rather succinctly. “People liked it, so it was cool, but I’m really tryin to let people know, I’m a singer, I love to sing.”
