So another Christmas is in the books and you’ve gotten and given everything you wanted on your list. If you are one of those people that wants to drop hints or get a head start on next year (hey, do you REALLY want be in the mall again on Christmas Eve?) we have a really cool suggestion–a new car.
Specifically a 2015 Lincoln MKC. For those of us who enjoy luxury amenities in an SUV but don’t want to circle the block looking for parking spots big enough to hold it, this mid-size sport utility could be just what you’re looking for.
“Many people think of Lincoln as larger vehicles and this product will hopefully change the image of the brand,” says Jim Farley, executive vice president of Ford Global Marketing, Sales and Service and Lincoln, “New younger customers are aspiring to luxury but they want a more compact vehicle for their urban lifestyle. Many baby boomers are downsizing but want the same features.”
Lisa Drake, Chief Engineer Lincoln MKC, took a few minutes to highlight the features we think you’ll like in the new MKC, including the Ecoboost engines that squeeze 240 and 274 Horses out of a 4 cylinder power plant, 20″ Michelin tires, subwoofers in the doors, parking assist and a modem. Yes, this will officially be your mobile office where you can stream TheUrbanDaily.com’s videos to your heart’s content.
Production of the all-new 2015 Lincoln MKC is slated to begin in the second quarter of 2014 at the Louisville Assembly Plant in Louisville, Ky. Vehicles will begin arriving to Lincoln dealerships next summer.
