On Saturday Jordan Brand will rerelease the original colorway of the very first Jordan Spiz’ike that was released almost 10 years ago. Sneakerheads may know the sneaker itself is a combination of several different Jordan sneakers, which might be favorites of film director Spike Lee. The sneaker combinations include Air Jordan III, IV, V, VI, and XX, all sneakers he has been associated with though Jordan brands running history. At release time Jordan Brand will release a limited amount to celebrate the release with 29,032 pairs. The re-release is also associated with Spike Lee’s production company “40 Acres and a Mule,” which represented in the Red, White and Green colorway.
Before the release of the OG colorway let’s take a look back at the best Jordan Spiz’ikes colorways over the last decade and the possible retros we could see at the end of 2014 and 2015.
