The New Orleans native met with Sterling’s aunt and the store owner who witnessed the murder. In a picture posted to Instagram, you can see Alsina in an emotional embrace with Sterling’s aunt.
“2 People of God with Amazing strength. But just because we’re strong doesn’t mean we don’t hurt,” read the caption.
A few days ago, Alsina also posted a series of videos on Instagram, highlighting the recent string of police brutalities caught on tape.
“When do we stand up for ourselves and show them what our life means to us? Do we do what they’re doing to us? Do we kill them? I don’t know. You tell me. I’m just sending love to every other person around the world that’s confused as to why our lives don’t matter,” Alsina says in the video.
