It’s finally here! Frank Ocean has officially dropped his sophomore album.
Titled Blonde, the 17-track project takes listeners through Frank’s unapologetic mind. Sensuality, youth, summer, authenticity, and transition are some of the musical themes Frank chose for this project. While working on this project, Frank recruited some of the industry’s finest for help, including Beyonce, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Tyler the Creator, and Pharrell just to name a few.
In light of many of us waiting in desperation for this project, Frank wrote a sweet message on his Tumblr account, thanking his fans for the long, long wait.
“I had the time of my life making all of this,” he said. “Thank you all. Especially those of you who never let me forget I had to finish. Which is basically every one of ya’ll. Haha. Love you.”
The singer’s second studio album follows the release of his visual project, Endless.
